Our Mission.

Our mission is to bring surgical solutions to the medical community that solve common orthopaedic problems of the upper extremities. We strive to offer treatment alternatives that are not only innovative and effective, but economically beneficial to patients, physicians, and the healthcare system.

History.

SonicSurg Innovations was founded in 2009 by Brian M. Jurbala, MD an orthopaedic surgeon. After seeing hundreds of patients with the common ailment, "trigger finger", Dr. Jurbala began developing the Trigger Tome^® as a greatly improved surgical method for treating the problem. Additional innovative products are also currently in development.

Who We Are.

After founding the Company, Dr. Jurbala assembled a skilled team of medical industry professionals to assist in jump-starting and managing the company. In 2018, SonicSurg Innovations shifted operations from Plymouth, Minnesota to Lakeland, Florida, where Dr. Jurbala's practice is also located to streamline the supply chain management process. The Trigger Tome enables Dr. Jurbala to use surgical methods that are forward thinking, and SonicSurg Innovations has begun holding training courses for upper extremity specialists interested in learning to use the Trigger Tome, in tandem with high definition ultrasound, in their practice.
